Your eating habits

can affect your arthritis. For example, if you are overweight, one of the most important things you can do is to find a healthy weight. A healthy diet can also give you the energy you need to perform your daily activities. you should also ask yourself if your usual diet gives you all the essential nutrients.
Although a healthy diet is important, In no way you should stop discontinue or change your medical treatment without first discuss your plans with your healthcare team first.
What the most important changes can I make to my diet to reduce my symptoms of arthritis?

increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids:According to current researches, omega-3 fatty acids (found in fatty fish like salmon and trout as well as nuts and seeds) can be beneficial if you are suffering from a form of arthritis inflammatory type (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis). Other studies have also shown that antioxidants can reduce inflammation by neutralizing some of the substances in the body that cause it and help to protect the joints and even prevent arthritis. Recent studies suggest that the risk of inflammatory arthritis is lower in people who eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, especially those that contain vitamin C.
So here's some methods to increase omega-3 fatty acids intake:

1 Sprinkle your yogurt or cereal with ground flaxseed.

2 As a snack, treat yourself to a small handful of walnuts.

3 Use cooking oils high in Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) as canola oil and soybean oil.

4 Pour linseed oil on salads and vegetables steamed fillet (but do not use this oil for cooking as it becomes toxic when heated).

5 You can also consider taking supplements of omega-3 fatty acids in consultation with your doctor. Depending on the dose of omega-3 supplements can cause drug interactions or adverse effects.

why I have to attach great importance to my weight?
The most crucial link between diet and arthritis is body weight. Having the extra weight adds an additional burden on the weight bearing joints (those of the back, hips, knees, ankles and feet), which aggravates their condition when they are already damaged or subjected to high pressures. Because of how joints work, the pressure on your knees when you walk is greater than your body weight. Even a small weight loss can be extremely beneficial for your joints. If you are overweight and some of your weight-bearing joints are affected by arthritis, losing weight will be more useful than taking dietary supplements whatever it is.

How can I eat healthy and maintain a healthy weight?
There are a host of treatments and allegedly miraculous diets, which can be confusing. Unfortunately, there is no miracle cure against arthritis. Or the fashionable shock diet are generally not balanced, they are not recommended. In fact, most people who follow eventually regain the weight they lost when they return to their old eating habits. The only way to lose weight for good is to make permanent changes in your eating habits and increase your exercise level.
